Orientative weekly pay of the main countries to be Au Pair

The Agreement signed by the host family and the Au Pair must state the weekly pay to be received by the Au Pair as remuneration for taking care of children and helping with related house tasks.

Many countries have regulations regarding the Au Pair's remuneration, but on certain occasions families may offer a greater weekly pay than the usual pay based on the following criteria:

  • Target country: every target country have standard weekly pays

  • Au Pair's age and experience

  • Au Pair's language

  • Number of working hours per week

  • Any additional nanny service

  • Number of kids in the family to be taken care of and their ages

  • Taking care of children with special needs

  • Workload and preparation of meals or other house tasks

 

As a guideline, you may find fees stated in Euros, U.S. dollars, and pounds, as an average paid today on a weekly basis by the host families according to the number of weekly hours in the main countries:
