Hello! I´am Paula
Hi, my name is Paula Villar and I'm turning 21 this year. My country of origin is Paraguay, South America. I'm currently studying Architecture at a public university here in Paraguay, and I'm on my second semester. I'm friendly and hardworking but yet responsible and serious. Drawing is a hobby of mine, as well as fashion design and make up, let's say I love everything relatable to Art.
My mom is a single mother, and she is the loveliest, kindest person I know. Her side of the family is very large, it sums up to about 56 people, that's because my grandmother had 10 children, and well, my aunts and uncles had a lot of children each. We are very close and always meet on sundays for lunch, as it is a tradition in my family.
Time at school gets really busy, architecture is a career in which you have to give it all the time you have in order to be able to achieve everything and develop the necessary skills needed for this profession. By this I mean, projects, assignments and tests, which are hard to keep up with if you are behind with just one subject.
As I've mentioned before, I love art and everything related to it. Some of the hobbies appart from makeup and drawing would be cooking and singing, each of them extreme poles, but I've been doing them since I was little.
As soon as my time at the host country ends, I would love to travel around and visit a friend of mine. After that I plan on going back home and continuing my studies.
It would be lovely to become an for two reasons. One, to have the opportunity of knowing another culture and learning from it, meeting people, making friends. Two, to gain even more experience when taking care of kid. I've done it before when I participated on a Student Program, and lived on the Gold Coast, Queensland, AUS.
I took care of two lovely kids. They were a family friend's children and were about 2-3 years old. I did it often, and I had such a blast with them, their parents went out on a date while I took care of them for about 4 to 5 hours each time. We played, then I bathed them and went to sleep. It would take long for the little one to go to sleep, he was 2 years old at that time and was full of energy, he wouldn't give up.
Apart from those two little kids, I frequently take care of my nephews, part of them being about 3-5 years and a new born.
Taking care of children is a joy for me because it's a way of coming home and knowing there's a little one expecting you to play with him or her. It is a healthy way to relax and share some quality time with kids, with little pieces of heaven.
It would be lovely if a family accepted me, I'm quite responsible and most of all, would like to share time with them and the kids, getting to know them and helping them in any way I can.
