Hello! I´am Delia
Hello! I'm Delia from Italy and I’m eighteen years old.
I’m a very sociable and conversable person. People who know me often say I’m a patient girl with full control over myself. My interests are quite extensive: I love taking part in sports; in particular I love volleyball, tennis and swimming. Living in south Italy (Apulia) I also used to go on long walks or bike rides during spring and summer regularly. My biggest ambition is to travel the world in an easy and cheap way as this one, taking part in many communities and leaving a mark of my experience. My family is made up of: my 55-year-old dad, who is a business consultant and an accountant and teaches me a lot of economic related work. My mother is 51 years old and she’s a housewife, following all local traditions. She teaches me to cook a lot of traditional Italian food, which I would love to cook for you. Lastly, my brother who is 21 years old, studies economics. I have a lot of relatives but I want to mention about my little cousin Paolo, who turned 2 years old, a few days ago. I often take care of him since he was born: he loves me because every time we’re together we have such a good time: playing and singing with my guitar, playing with water in the garden, painting and drawing. I consider myself as a creative person, I’ll always contrive something. Moreover I live in a big house with a big garden, which I usually take care of, so I could also organize your garden if you have one too; I had a dog until last year, I would enjoy time with your one! After summer I’ll be attending my last high school year and I’ll graduate from a classic Liceum. During these 4 years I obtained ECDL, I got a b1 certification from Cambridge and a Regent’s University (in London) certificate from 17th August 2015 to 11th September of the same year. I remember that in that period I lived next to an elementary international school so I used to talk to them everyday when school ends. With that experience I can say that my English has become really fluent over the years and I also understand basic French and Spanish grammar.
I would like to travel and live with families and children because I realize that I don’t have enough money for my dreams, so I thought: what else can I offer to the world? What can I give in exchange of hospitality? Well! Firstly, I can offer a massive amount of pleasantness, empathy and compassion towards children. Then I can think of other important qualities are made up by my knowledge of manual work: like managing a home, cooking tasty and healthy meals and taking care of nature and ambience. Moreover I’m a person who believes in whatever I do without the need for a guide or a support. In short, if you’re looking for an organized, methodical and passionate caretaker that’s exactly what I’m there to offer.
